This coffee is from the Guji Zone of southern Ethiopia. Farmers from all around this area gather at the Shakiso washing station in the Odo Shakiso district to sell their produce. It is estimated that there are over 10,000 coffee varietials in Ethiopia alone, and Tero Farm is one of these mysterious breeds. As coffee plants cross pollinate throughout the region, coffee’s like the Tero Farm are categorized as an heirloom varietal as it captures many types of coffee plants that have been passed through one generation to another without being genetically traced by coffee specialists.
