In Tanzania the Robusta coffee is grown almost exclusively in Bukoba area in  the region of Kagera, on the western coast of Lake Victoria. The specific humidity of this area, combined to growing the coffee in shade which is a classic feature of the small African plantations, gives this coffee a great complex body and a sweetness that is usually rare in Robusta coffees. This coffee´s crema has a dark hazelnut colour and the aromas are of wood, dark caramel and cocoa.
